Types of Interventions in Therapy

At Hakuna Matata Therapeutic Clinic, the child enters a space specially built to allow him/her to dive into an enchanted world, full of stimuli that facilitate relationships, communication and sharing. In this container and safe space, the child is encouraged to direct the games, guided by the therapist, depending on their greatest fears and insecurities. For this purpose and depending on the child's preferences and skills, various therapy facilitators are used, including:  

  • Art Therapy

       Drawings, paintings, constructions, plasticine

  • Narrative Therapy/through stories

       Fairy tales, traditional tales, Disney Stories 

  • Dramatization 

       Puppets/RolePlay/Masks

  • Symbolic play therapy 

        

  • Therapeutic board games 

       Bullying, Social skills, fears, internet security, abuse prevention, knowledge of relationships relatives

  • Relaxation or release techniques

  • Therapy using music 

  • Sand therapy as a medium
